 Story Times
 

Storytimes are presented to groups of children to encourage a lifelong love of reading through favourite stories, songs and rhymes. It's a great way of meeting parents with children of the same age. 

Tales for Tots (0-35 months)
Bouncing and tickling rhymes, finger plays, songs and stories for babies and toddlers with parents and caregivers.  Fall, winter, and spring sessions take place on Thursday and Friday from 10:35 am to 11:05 am and Thursday evening from 6:45 pm - 7:15 pm.

Story Sleuths (Ages 3-5)
Favourite stories, fingerplays, crafts, songs and verse for children who are ready to be on their own in a group.  Fall, winter, and spring sessions take place on Thursday and Friday mornings from 10:35 to 11:05.

 Summer Reading Program
(Aged 4-11)
The St. Marys Public Library's TD Summer Reading Program is an extremely excited and fun way to promote literacy for children in the summer.  Congratulations to the over 100 children who participated the 2007's "Lost World".   The theme for 2008 is "Laugh Out Loud". The program includes fun books, stories and poems, hilarious jokes to tickle the funny bone, games that result in side-splitting, rib-ticking fun, brain teasers, tongue twisters, and knock-knocks that will have children roaring with laughter.  There's to be loads of fun!  The acronym LOL is recognized by children and youth across the country.  Registration begins Registration begins June 14, 2008.  July program runs from June 30th to July 29th and August program runs from July 30th to August 27. ...
